In our infant classroom each child is on their own unique schedule. During the parent orientation the new family will provide a personalized schedule of the child’s current needs. The teachers will follow each child’s schedule and provide feedback to families as they see the needs grow and change. As the students’ needs change the teachers will communicate with the families and work together to adjust the schedule to the child’s changing needs.
Teachers keep track of sleeping, eating, toileting, and general behaviors in our Tadpoles app. When the child is checked out at the end of each day the parent will receive a personalized report of their child’s day. FYC also sends at least one photo/day of the child through tadpoles.
Parents in our infant room provide bottles, filled and labeled with the child’s name and date. Bottles are rinsed and returned to parents for cleaning at pick up. Parents provide baby food until the child reached the “table food” stage. At that time the child will transition to food provided by our catering company, Healthy Organic Kids. Two snacks and lunch will be provided daily. Parents provide diapers and FYC provides wipes unless otherwise specified by the parent.
